Once again, the project Sabores del Barrio of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) welcomed the palate of the thousands of assistants who met on Saturday, January 21 at the City of Knowledge Quadangle to enjoy the closing show of version 20 of the Panama Jazz Festival.

At the Metropolitan Cultural Centre of the Ministry of Culture, the art, music and dance workshops have been initiated and have been completely free and have been attended by about 300 children and adults from the province of West Panama, San Miguelito, North Panama and Panama City Center.

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), this year made important progress on issues such as infrastructure, inclusion, development of citizen projects, training and empowerment programs and creative industries, among other actions that seek to get culture to all, and reaffirmed cultural commitment as a development and human rights goal.

Due to its contributions to society and especially to their knowledge and knowledge, and with the aim of enjoying all cultural events, the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) carries out through its "citizen culture" programs several actions to strengthen the participation of older people in different art-oriented activities.

The Intergovernmental Council (IIC) of the Ibero-American Research and Training Fund IBERESCENA elected Panama through the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) to serve as Chair of the Programme in 2023 and will be represented by Renan Fernández, executive assistant to the national management of the arts.
