MiCultura will offer more than 80 cultural events to celebrate Christmas

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) has been performing art and recreation in December with more than 80 events and shows, where families will be free to enjoy the talent of our Panamanian artists with presentations from the National Symphony Orchestra, The National Ballet, the Orchestra and Coros Network, and his name and his name.

Places, parishes and commercial centers, among other spaces will be filled with joy and emotions with each of the artistic sets that looks at the Decembrine agenda, with the aim of sharing feelings with public of all ages so that they will enjoy through the art of one of the most awaited dates of the year.

The December program began with the Panama Network of Orchestra and Youth Choirs who have been looking at more than 45 concerts at national level and began their presentation on 1 December with the Coral program at Andrés Bello Park in Via Argentina and whose performances will end on 6 January 2023.

It should be noted that La Red has been invited to participate with the Republican Band to be part of the well-known toilets that will be held on 11 November at the Reg Center 28 and 18 at the Ribbon Coast near the Skatting Track, both at 4: 00 p.m.

In this respect, Electra Castillo, national director of La Red detailed that "we are pleased with the long list of events, of which we highlight those with our programs of the IHE and the Altos de los Lagos module of Colón, which is the most important because this is the first time that will be presented in his province."

While the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Jorge Ledezma Bradley and Ricardo Risco, accompanied by soloists and guest artists have prepared a great repertoire with the characteristic melodies of the time, with presentations at different scenarios among them outstanding on December 22 at Colón Cathedral.

"Thank you all for being with us and supporting our daily work in deepening our knowledge of symphonic music for all our citizens, especially at this time because Christmas music has an emotional burden and a content of brotherhood and solidarity that we have to give rather than receive. Finally we enjoy and enjoy people," emphasized Jorge Ledezma Bradley, director of the Orchestra

The Panama National Ballet will do the same at the National Theater on 8, 9 and 10 December with the master stage of the classic Don Quixote with a large cast of 45 dancers, and with them as well as aspiring dancers.

To that end, Gloria Barrios, executive director of the National Ballet stated that "this year has been very important to the National Ballet for the celebration of the 50 years, in which we have had masterful presentations and where the public's response to the National Ballet has been very satisfactory, and this shows that in less than 3 hours free tickets have been exhausted."

The Casco Antiguo of Panama City also forms part of this Christmas with an art program full of cultural activations in squares and streets of the site, including pampering, musicians, live orchestras, mariachi and at the Cultural Nights of December 17, we will be accompanied by "The Beachers," as well as the participation of the artisans of the Mercadito Artesanal and Sabores del Barrio project.

On these activations, Fernando Díaz Jaramillo, director of the office of the Casco Antiguo mentioned "we are very happy to have a very nuanced billboard at our historic centre focused all about family enjoyment. Many surprises every weekend and with a spectacular closure with Cultural Night and Christmas party on 17 and 18."

For his part, Giselle González Villarrué, Minister of Culture, referred to the Identity Tour involving music, art and crafts, which is also an integral part of the Decbrine program, and includes a concert that will be held on December 10 at the Amphitheater of the Reparatand Omar and with the presentation of the singer Rómulo Castro with the Tuira Group.

González Villarrué emphasized that we are still present in our provinces through regional headquarters and we are expecting to be able to move the National Ballet, the Symphony Orchestra and the rest of our programs so that we can all enjoy art and culture.
