Panama, September 30, 2025. - To promote inclusion and highlight the talent of the Sorda community, the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), through the Office of Equal Opportunities, conducted the third edition of the Sorda Culture Festival, in a strategic partnership with Albrook Mall, headquarters that for the second consecutive year supports this initiative.

The festival was held as part of the International Week of Sorta Culture, an commemoration that brings together three significant dates for this community: International Day of sign languages, International Day of sign-tongue intermittent and International Day of Sords.

The day includes an intersectional fence with deaf artisan, information spaces of institutions that offered counselling and inclusive services as well as tidal shows where artists with disabilities have shown their talent in an area designed especially to visualise their skills.

The attendees enjoyed musical performances, Tancua and Sandra Filos as well as Arabic dance shows by Raquel Arrue, zuba with Yaritzel Morales, football freestyle with Susan Santamaría, folk dance by sevillan victor and Yaritzel Morales and a close full of many songs and music by teachers of the Network of Chors and orchestras and performed in sign language.

The festival also included interactive spaces such as the sign-tongue workshop and the activity "Pinta, Pinta," directed by Apales, encouraging direct public participation.

One of the most emotional moments was the talk "Deaf parents, listening children / listening parents, deaf children," with the participation of families that shared experiences about inclusion and communication.

Also, international guests from Global Partnership + PAAM have been put forward and have brought a global perspective to the meeting.
