Panama September 28, 2025. -The Ambassador of Panama to the Organization of American States (OAS), Ana Irene Delgado, headed our country's delegation to the Festivals and Festivals of Festivals DC 2025 as a flag of Panama's representation.
"Festa DC" is one of the most important Latino festivals of the American capital, that each year celebrates cultural diversity with music, dances, gastronomy and crafts. At this edition, held on September 27 and 28, at the iconic Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Panama shines with a delegation that proudly represented its roots and traditions.
The celebration brought together Panamanian people living in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia, who united around the national flag to pay tribute to the culture and folklore of the country.
The event, bringing together thousands of attendees from throughout the region, was supported by the Ministry of Culture of Panama, enabling them to strengthen their international vision of Panamanian cultural identity and highlight the value of the diaspora in the United States.
With typical music, traditional costumes and artistic performances, Panamanian people joined the parade of nations that distinguished Festa DC with a message of unity, national pride and celebration of diversity.
The Ministry of Culture, at the same time with the representation of Panama at the OAS, met with the commitment to continue to promote and support our country's presence at international events that strengthen its link with the world community and contribute to disseminating our cultural heritage with other fraternal nations and peoples.
