Panama through the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) was elected to hold the second vice-president of the Inter-American Commission for Culture, an election that was held as part of the IX Inter-American Meeting of Ministers and Highest Cultural Authorities held in Antigua Guatemala on October 27 and 28.

The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué, received in her office the deputy of the region Guna Yala, Petita Ayarza with whom she exchanged with them issues related to actions that can be undertaken in the region such as cultural tourism and the Visibilization of the culture Guna Yala.
