China and Panama have an interest in developing projects of a cultural character

The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué, received the ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Wei Qiang, with a view to exchanging ideas and analysing the possibility of projects for futures that leave a cultural legacy for both nations.

The conversation focused on both parties's interest in strengthening the City of The Arts with an Innovation Laboratory, modernizing the MiCultura Printing, interviewing experts on restoration and researchers and strengthening the Cultural and Intangible Heritage.

The incumbent of Culture told the diplomat of the People's Republic of China that "they can have this ministry for the cultural strengthening of both nations and continue to work together with more sustainable projects in time."

For his part, Ambassador Qiang expressed his gratitude for his collaboration and support from the Ministry of Culture for these years of relations at work as a whole with activities and events dedicated to improving the level of mutual understanding between Chinese and Panamanian with respect to the culture of both countries.
