Panama, April 30, 2026. - The National Oratorial Competition has been launched with its twenty-first edition under the motto about the revolution of artificial intelligence and the role of youth as creators of solutions and leaders of digital transformation in the country. During the official launch event, there was the presence of Deputy Minister Arianne Benedetti, who was represented by the Ministry of Culture to support this initiative that aims to enhance the talent and expression of Panamanian youth.

That educational platform, co-organized by the Ministry of Education and the National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation, invites students to reflect on how technology can act as an ally to enhance creativity and critical thought in solving social, legal and environmental challenges. After two decades of success, the contest has been able to involve more than eight hundred and fifty thousand pupils and to train twelve thousand middlelevel teachers throughout the national territory.

The registration period remains open from April 30 to May 30 for students from public and private schools, who have access to the form and contest's bases through the official website. The selection process starts with internal phases at each school, followed by regional skills that will define 64 quotas for national preselection. From this group, the fifteen finalists will come up to compete at the great final scheduled for Sunday, November 22.

) Young people who have reached the final stage will be fully trained at the National Oratorial Academy, where they will deepen their knowledge about cyber security, semiconductors, financial and public policies and advanced communication technologies. The project, run by the Mas Móvil Foundation, has been supported by government institutions, diplomatic missions and the media that seek to strengthen youth leadership and the cultural legacy of the nation.
