Panama 16 April 2026. The Ministry of Culture of Panama announced on Thursday 16 April, during a press conference, the launch of "We Are Music" the first Jazz Experience Panama 2026 and the sixth edition of the Club of House Groups, two initiatives that seek to strengthen cultural identity, boost national talent and bring music to different territories of the country as part of its strategy of cultural decentralization.

The Conference Group Festival, in its sixth edition, lays itself as a platform for viewing professional and young musicians and talents, who, through their groups, play repertories that cover classical, contemporary and Panamanian music. That space not only engulves the national artistic level but also promotes experiences that connect the public with high-quality musical proposals.

As part of its program, the festival will conduct tours inside the country, reaching provinces such as Chiriquí and Los Santos, as well as presentations at iconic spaces of the capital city, including Omar Park, ITSE's facilities, City of the Arts and North Park auditorium. The great closure will take place at El Valle de Antón, thus showing its national reach.

For its part, Jazz Experience Panama 2026 marks an important step by presenting its first edition as an innovative bet that aims to decentralise cultural offer and place jazz in new scenarios. That project will bring the gender to strategic destinations such as Pedasi, in the province of Los Santos, where it will start next May 30, and Boquete, in Chiriquí, where it will continue in September.

More than an event, Jazz Experience Panama projects itself as a cultural development platform that promotes the formation of new audiences, promotes national talent and strengthens the creative economy and cultural tourism in the country. Each headquarters will offer a unique experience: Pedasi with its coastal environment and growing tourist attractiveness and Boquete, recognized for its climate, its natural wealth and its food and coffee offering.

The first issue will feature the participation of the advanced big band with students from the Network of Youth Chors and Orchestra of Panama, under the direction of Alejandro Castillo, and with leading national musicians such as Papin's Jazz Band, Euclides Ballesteros and Senir Tableño, Miracles Blades and his orchestra and Kandall & Chowmein Band, who will bring diversity and artistic quality to the program.

With these initiatives, the Ministry of Culture strengthens its commitment to bringing culture throughout the country, connecting communities, creating new audiences and positioning Panama as a destination where music also promotes development.
