Maricel Cohen de Mulino, First Lady of the Republic of Panama, first visited the City of the Arts, where she made a tour of this iconic building, with the Minister of Culture María Eugenia Herrera, the Deputy Minister, Arianne Benedetti and directors of the Ministry.

The tour included a visit to the seven buildings that make up this cultural centre, with talented artists from different disciplines showing the work of each of the programs that integrate the different schools that are there: Music, Theater, Plastic arts, Dance, National Ballet of Panama, National Symphony Orchestra and Panama's Network of Orchestra and Youth Chors.

During the meeting, the First Lady visited two exhibitions, including photos of dancers from Panama's National Ballet and another for people with visual disabilities, entitled "No Touch."

The professionals of the National Ballet of Panama conduct a small demonstration of the choreography, called "Tribute to Saint-Saëns" by Eduardo Blanco. Later, the comitiva visited the modesty workshop of the National Ballet of Panama, where they were greatly impressed with the work of the artisan.

The tour also included a visit to the music building, where a sample of the work of teachers and teachers with students from the Special Education and Coros program from Panama's Network of Orchestra and Youth Corks was presented.

The School of Theater dedicated a class of stage makeup, fantasy and characterization, by Professor Raquel Arosemena.

The tour also included the Plastic arts halls, cafes, exhibition rooms and the Rogelio Sinan Library with the presentation of the National Symphony Orchestra at the auditorium, Herbert De Castro.

The First Lady of the Republic, Maricel Cohen, thanked all the musicians and artists for their time dedicated to the demonstrations and urged them to care for, preserve and transmit what they have learned.
