MiCultura introduced Banda Concert and the Balboa Theater

The Panama National Symphony Orchestra (OSN) presented at the Balboa Theater a Gala concert with a band repertoire, in honor of his outstanding musician Santiago Aguilar Ferrari (q.e.pd.), a former member of the National Symphony Orchestra and police's Music Band.

The concert was presented under the baton of Professor José Luis Cajar as guest director.

The program of the concert: The Victorian March Lorenzo by composer José Luis Cajar, Overture to the Messiah, Georg F. Händel, Arr. Lucian Cailliet; Concert for two trumpets at major, RV537, Antonio Vivaldi, Arr. Jack Ham with the soloists: Faustino Sánchez and Rony Ruíz The Green, Symphony Suite about the themes of verdi's operas, with the chorus of soloists of the Association Grupo Lírica of Panama. Lassus Trombone (March)Henry Fillmore. Fanfaria for an ordinary man, Aaron Copand Hallelujah, Messiah, Georg Friedrich Händel.

The families and friends of Maestro Santiago Aguilar enjoyed this great tribute with guest musicians from: The National Police's Band, the National Border Service, the Institutional Protection Service, the Municipality of Panama, the University of Panama's School of Fine Arts, the Professional School Isabel Herrera de Obaldía, the Pedro Pablo Sánchez College, the Association Grupo Lírico de Panama, the Pan American Institute, the Youth Music School and the National Institute of Music.
