The Mola Museum is pleased to announce the opening of the temporary photo exhibition Muugan Boe (El Llanto de las Abuelas), which will open to the public until November 24 this year.

That sample brings together the work of talented photographers Naypiler Hackin and Lois Iglesias, who, through their lenses, captured performances of events that happened about 100 years ago during the 1925 Dule Revolution in different territories of the Guna Yala region.

The Dule Revolution is a key milestone in the history of the Guna people, as it marked the beginning of their fight for self-determination and the preservation of their culture and territory. Muugan Boe narra, through powerful images, the courage and resilience of an indigenous people that, to date, continues to uphold their rights and traditions.

The Mola Museum prides itself on being a space where, for more than a month, these impressive photographs will be intertwined with our permanent exhibitions, offering national and foreign visitors a unique window to the history of the extraordinary Guna people.

The entrance to the exhibition and to the museum is completely free. We invite everyone to visit from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10: 00 a.m. to 4: 30 p.m., to get immersed in this touching visual history.
