About 250 people associated with the Panamanian music industry attended the Master Class (concurrently) on Tuesday 26 and was offered by the renowned American producer Sergio George with a number of awards by agencies linked to the music world and considered as one of the most outstanding in this branch.

Norma Buendía Director General of the Panamanian Association of performing and performing artists (PANAIE) and the Panamanian Society of Discographic Producers (PRODICE) explained that this is a training cycle that organisations are promoting to strengthen the musical industry in Panama.

He added that this is the first Master Class of several that are expected to be performed this year, "because those with links to industry have the tools and knowledge necessary to get our music to cross the boundaries we all wish," Buendia said.

The first day of Master Class's theme was "Introduction and Beginnings to the Music Industry," while this Wednesday, 27, the theme will be "Music production: how to transform themes to other genres."

Sergio George is considered by his critics as the most outstanding tropical music producer in the world, as he has produced successful albums to great artists Marc Anthony, India, Christina Aguilera, Tito Nieves, Victor Manuelle, Tito Puente, Orchestra of La Luz of Japan and Jennifer López, among others.
