The Panamanian writer with a high track record Bertalicia Peralta, was selected by the Board of Writers and Writers of Panama as the credit to the décor "Rogelio Sinan" 2024.

The announcement was made by the Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué, who advanced that the prize will be at a solemn event that will be held at the National Theater on April 25.

González Villarrué added that to give the décor Rogelio Sinan to the writer Bertalicia Peralta his great trajectory, his legacy and his great contribution to national literature and international transcendence was taken into account.

According to Act 14 of 7 February 2001, it is up to the President of the Republic to enforce this decoration.

Bertalicia Peralta entered into literary critique, music and theater and was also an editor of radio and television and also worked in the field of cultural journalism.
