Artists from Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Cuba met in Panama to participate in the First International Meeting of Troopers of the 10th that was held from September 12 to 19 in the provinces of Veraguas and Herrera and that was organized by the ocu Cultural and Folklore Committee for the world.

That event aims at bringing together the cultural peoples that have been singing the tenth includes a great program of presentations in different villages throughout the country, such as Pesé, Parita, Canelos, Las Minas, Ocú, Los Pozo and Santiago, where visiting singers have been surprising to both great and young people about the versatility of their letters.

During the tour, international trovators have been an interesting cultural exchange with children and youth who belong to the "Peasant Heritage" project of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), run by musician José Augusto Broce.
They also participated as a whole from a beautiful mass sung at tenth place, at the Church of Los Pozo, Province of Herrera, and this was the first time an Eucharist was held with this style.

"It's been an interesting exchange, and the children and youth of the project have been listening to international trovators with a great deal of experience and with words of motivation, so that they can grow up in their music and continue with pride to cultivate their traditions," emphasized Professor Broce.

The Panamanian artist specialized in the performance of the violin and best practice noted that "we hope with MiCultura, we will be able to conduct next year, a bigger meeting where trovators from different parts of the world come together and put them on stage with national trovators."
