The town of Panama. Hundreds of artisan, with visitors and authorities, participated this Sunday at the Eucharist held as part of the XLVI National Crafts Fair, held at the Atlapa Convention Center.

The mass was presided over by Bishop José Domingo Ulloa, who dedicated an emotional message to the value of artisan work as an expression of faith, culture and Panamanian identity.

During his homily, Bishop Ulloa emphasized that the hands of the artisan are a gift of God and an instrument to preserve the history of peoples. He recalled that Jesus Christ, before his public life and his performance of the miracle of the multiplication of his loaves, spent much of his life in Nazareth learning a profession, dignifying his work from a workshop.

Mr. Ulloa expressed his gratitude for the commitment of the Ministry of Culture to promote spaces that strengthen the traditions and cultural heritage of the country, and emphasized the importance of continuing to support those who have been keeping the artisan technologies that identify Panama alive.

At the height of the celebration, the Archbishop performed his blessing from the hands of the artisan, with a gesture filled with symbolism and recognition to men and women who, with creativity, dedication and work, preserve the cultural legacy of the different regions of the country.

The Eucharist was part of the program at the XLVI National Crafts Fair, which brings together hundreds of artisan from throughout the national territory and offers an extensive display to the public of the cultural wealth, traditions and talent that distinguish Panama.
