Panama, May 5, 2026. - The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Panama commemorated the fifty-fifth, 235 years, of the anniversary of the Constitution of May 3, 1791, a historic landmark that underlies the democratic identity of the European nation.

Ambassador Jolanta Janek welcomed personalities to celebrate this national date and emphasized the validity of civil values and the sovereignty represented by this historic document for the Polish people.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Culture of Panama, Arianne Benedetti. During the meeting, the importance of institutional collaboration and the exchange of experiences with the arts and heritage management was emphasized, and these have been an opportunity to strengthen the links between the two administrations in recent years.

The links between Panama and Poland have been strengthened by a bilateral agenda that prioritizes educational cooperation and the development of the film and literary industry. Both nations have agreements that facilitate academic mobility and participation of artists at international festivals, strengthening a diplomatic relationship that recognizes culture as the main vehicle for mutual understanding and development of long-range joint projects.
