Panama, April 6, 2026. The Ministry of Culture and the Iberescenna program support the organization of the International Circus Festival of Panama (FipEC 2026), to be held from May 15 to 21.
The event, organized by Sandanner Entertainment Corp., will bring together more than 15 national and international artists at a dedicated day to the disciplines of acrobacia, malabares, clown and physical theater at different scenarios of the capital and town of Colón.
The program will start on Friday, May 15th and Saturday 16th at the Pacific Theater, followed by Sunday 17th at La Huaca Theater. On Tuesday, May 19th, the activities will be moved to the Colón Center for Art and Culture, returning to the capital on Wednesday, June 20th at the Balboa Theater, to end on Thursday, May 21st at the Hotel El Panama.
At the artistic level, Panama will introduce the collective work "Mundos Paralelos," as well as the individual pieces of Mileika Ayala and Joinner Barreiro.
The international representation will be with Colombia's Circo Caribe Company, Mexico's Dúo Go, Chile's acrobat Nicil Mena and Argentina's Rumba Company.
The participation of these countries aims at strengthening cultural exchange and bringing the contemporary circus closer to citizenship.
Sandanner Entertainment Corp., an activity manager, is composed of dance and circus arts professionals who seek to offer high level technical performances. With this festival, the organisation and related institutions promote a cultural agenda that integrates different scenarios and promotes the creation of artistic experiences for all public.
The conference was attended by Larissa Diaz, executive director of the festival, Anyvonne Foveda, deputy director of the National Directorate of the Arts of MiCultura, Joinner Barreiro, artistic director of the festival, Abel Aronategui, director of the Center of Art and Culture of Colón and Renan Fernández, representative of the Iberescua program in Panama.
