The Tables, The Saints, January 17, 2026. With tunas music, wind lace and the presence of thousands of national and foreign visitors, the Mil Polleres Parade once again this Saturday turned the streets of The Tables into the centre of the Panamanian folklor, highlighting the wealth of the typical suit as a symbol of his national identity and cultural heritage.

Organized by the Tourism Authority in co-ordination with the Ministry of Culture of Panama and local authorities, the event brought together tiddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd@@

The parade began with the participation of the official flag, the Minister of Culture, María Eugenia Herrera, who opened the path with the well-known artisan Tito Combe, an iconic figure of the production of shattering and traditional goldsmiths. Also with them was the Tourism Administrator, Gloria De León.

The Mil Polleras Parade is a living stage of recognition of the artisan work, family and collective memory of Panama, "stated the Minister of Culture, who emphasized the growing participation of young people and girls, thereby guaranteeing the continuity of this centuries-old tradition.

In addition to its cultural value, the parade generates an important tourist movement in the region of Azuero. Hotels, restaurants and shops reported high demand during the weekend, reflecting the consolidation of the event as one of the engines of Panamanian cultural tourism.

The Tourism Authority promotes the positioning of the parade as a national and international cultural and tourist product.
