Panama, January 16, 2026. The public and the organized cultural sectors of the country have been told that the national call for the nomination of alternate representatives to be part of the National Meeting of Cultures, for the period 2026-2031, as established by Executive Decree No. 13 of September 7, 2023.

The call aims at the following cultural sectors: Fashion Sector, Women's Organizations, Indigenous Peoples' Organizations, Cinema and Audiovisual Sector.

That process aims at broadening the participation and representation of different cultural sectors by promoting the inclusion of different expressions, knowledge and perspectives that make up the cultural landscape of the country.

Those interested in applying to their alternates will have to send information from 13 January to 13 February to the official e-mail: encontronacionaldecultures @ MiCultura.gob.pa

The Ministry of Culture continues its work with public participation and collective construction of cultural policies and invites those sectors that have been called upon to participate actively in this area of cultural dialogue and interplay at national level.
