In an initiative advanced by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), regional museums of the interior run by the institution received national and foreign visitors with exhibitions, talks and workshops, in commemoration of International Museum Day.

The Regional Museum of Penonomé, at Coclé, was the stage for the development of the exhibition "Cucua, día centenaria de Corpus Christi at Penonomé" dictated by the Folkorologa, Celina Quiros, as well as the demonstration of "Artesanal Techniques" offered by artisan teachers.

During the program, artisans and entrepreneurs from different areas focused on the portals of the museum, to present all sorts of artisan techniques at an exhibition full of activities.

In commemoration of the date held, other museums from Coclé region were also part of this initiative as was the case with the Museo de Aguadulce, Stella Sierra with the pictorial and sculptural presentation "The Blind Exhibition," and the Museo Parque Archeological, El Caño and Casa Museo Omar Torrijos that have been performing painting workshops.

On the other hand, at the Regional Museum of Veraguas, an opening was held of "Expo Huaca," where the public saw the display of original replicas of pre-Columbian pieces and pictorial works by the Panamanian Association of Plastic Artists (APAP), at a day dedicated to expanding cultures within the country.
