The Minister of Culture (MiCultura), Carlos Aguilar Navarro, opened the First Chamber Music Festival that began on July 12 and will extend up to the 29th of the same month with masterful presentations of 20 artistic groups, both at the La Huaca Theater and at the Anita Villalaz.

At the opening of the event at the La Huaca Theater at the ATLAPA Convention Center, at a high level of attendance, Minister Aguilar Navarro held that for MiCultura "it's a matter of pride, conduct an initiative so valuable where musicians will share with the audience, not only the rhythms of our Homeland but also of the sister countries of Latin America."

At this First Chamber Music Festival there will be space for curious, popular and fusion music, as it was prepared from an integral perspective, so that all sounds and all ages are included in the repertories.

The opening was held by the Ramiro Antonio Sánchez Gálvez Trompas Reforms of the Panamanian Society of Bronces (SOPAB), who performed "Majestic" and "Lyric" fanfare by composer Allen Vizzutti, and "Fanfare For Child" by Sandy Adam and "Bubbled," "Latin Fafarrhea" and "Caribbean" by Faustino Sánchez Castillo.

The first evening closed with the presentation of the Clare House Music Group, a set of music professionals that aims to spread classical and Panamanian camera music and to make known, as far as possible, the instruments that make up it.

The group received a plaque of recognition from the Minister of Culture, Carlos Aguilar Navarro for his 40 years and at his evening performed pieces by Mozart, Camille Saint- Saenz, Isaac Albeniz, Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Eleta Almaran, Rómulo Castro, Eduardo Charpentier de Castro and Eduardo Charpentier H.
