Panama, August 28, 2026. At the headquarters of the Multifunctional Teatro Áurea "Baby" Torrijos, an installation session was held at the first Board of Directors of the City of the Arts.

That event marks the formal start of a new phase aimed at strengthening, developing and fully managing this iconic cultural space of the country.

The session was attended by the main authorities and institutions that make up the board. At the meeting, the integration of management officials was formalised as required by law and with the following directive:
President María Eugenia Herrera and Vice President Ignacio Mallol
The Secretary, Juan Bosco Ureña and
The treasurer, Ricardo Gago Salinero.

The agenda covered the general presentation of the academic, cultural, administrative and financial model of the institution and the review and adoption of the draft statutory statutes.
