Panama City, 3 August 2026. The XLVI National Crafts Fair, held from 29 July to 2 August at the Atlapa Convention Center, has 94% satisfaction with its visitors, according to the preliminary results of 2.071 polls applied by the Statistical Commission of the Ministry of Culture.

The study that includes the days Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this fair event also reveals that 98% of those surveyed will come back to attend, reflecting the public's positive experience during the event.

The results have shown that 90% of those attending have been national and 10% have been foreign, and this indicates how interested the fair is both among the Panamanian public and among visitors from other countries. Also, 6% of those surveyed have indicated that they have some disability, reflecting the participation of different sections of the population.

Social networks were the main means by which visitors met the fair with 41% followed by recommendations from families and friends (29%) and television (19%). These data highlight the importance of digital platforms and personal recommendations for the dissemination of cultural activities.

With respect to provenance, the largest number of visitors came from Panama Province (53%), followed by Panama West (9%), Los Santos and Chiriquí (5% each), as well as other provinces and an important percentage of international visitors.

The artistic program also received a positive assessment. 53% of those surveyed described the presentations as very satisfactory and 44% as satisfactory for a co-approval of 97%.
In terms of inclusion, accessibility conditions obtained a favourable assessment of 87% of visitors who described them as appropriate or highly appropriate.

The results of this measure show a favourable public response to the 2026 National Crafts Fair, both for its experience and for its cultural planning, making it one of the meetings that brings together thousands of national and foreign visitors about the work of Panamanian artisans.
