Panama, 3 August 2026. - The National School of Theater, under the intertent direction of José Manuel Sánchez Cozzarelli, presented the work Adventures at the Selva "at the Teatro Aúrea" Beby "Torrijos," from Ciudad de las Artes. The function was part of the closing of the first half of 2026 of the regular and technical programs of the Ministry of Culture.

The assembly had the participation of 250 members at stage, with children, youth and adults, with age from 10.

The "Adventuras en la Selva" () is an adaptation by Raquel Arosemena, a teacher and an adaptation with the classical work "The Book of the Forest" by Rudyard Kipling. The production is designed for a family public and includes performance, music, dance, body expression, puppet technique and coral work.

"The plot tells the story of Nagi, a child raised by a pack of wolves that learns the laws of nature with the characters Abu, Daza, Mother Wolf and Father Wolf, while evading the threat of the tiger Nebra and the piton Ash serpent.

The text addresses issues focused on co-existence, teamwork, family structure, loyalty and respect for the natural environment. The staging combined choreographies, songs and narrative elements to coordinate the participation of the whole cast in the stage.

) The National School of Theater forms part of the Ministry of Culture and its role aims at academic training in performing arts. That presentation marks the end of the cycle for the first half of 2026.
