Panama June 22, 2026.The Cathedral Square, at the heart of Casco Antiguo, was filled with music, dance and artistic expressions during the Urban Fest 2026, a cultural and artistic festival organized by Flava Urbana with the support of the Ministry of Culture, through the office of Casco Antiguo.

More than 15 dance and urban music groups participated in this day that brought together children, youth, adults and families in an open space for artistic expression and community meeting.

During the day, the public enjoyed dance competitions in children's and youth's and adult's categories as well as artistic performances and performances by academies and schools that promote urban culture in Panama.

The activity also had a cultural market with local entrepreneurs and brands, presentations by guest artists from the Panamanian urban movement, spaces for emerging artists that made their talent known and family activities aimed at encouraging participation, co-existence and access to culture.
The event sought to Visibilize artists, dancers and entrepreneurs who advance urban culture in Panama, bringing these expressions to new audiences in an environment accessible to the whole family.

"We want to put these activities into visible spaces so that more people get to know and support the urban talent that exists in the country," said Yanny Fuentes, Flava Urbana's director.

Urban Fest 2026 emphasized the value of urban culture as a tool for social integration, creativity and cultural development, providing opportunities for new generations to show their talent and connect with different audiences.
