Panama, April 26, 2026 - The threads of the textile industry intertwined with the cycles of nature at the fourth edition of the international meeting Tierra, Wind, Fire and Water 2026. Following its passing through Miami, this event moved its headquarters to the Panamanian isthmus to turn the catwalk into a manifesto about the survival of the environment and the identity of peoples through design with purpose.

The sustainable fashion, art and culture gala is organized by CatWalk Pros Panama, CWP with the support of the Ministry of Culture, MiCultura, and some of the funds raised will be donated to the Home of the Girls Foundation of the Capital.

) The proposal sets up a narrative with raw materials and aesthetics accountable to the ecosystem. The event uses the fundamental elements - earth, wind, fire and water - as leading axes to display pieces that challenge mass production and propose, instead, an economy of creativity that respects the times of environmental regeneration.

Following the opening of the event, the Assistant Director of Creative Economics of MiCultura, Nikole Roquebre said: "By integrating fashion and art with a vision of sustainability, we are opening up channels for our creative industries to become engines of social transformation and ecological awareness."

During the official presentation, it was emphasized that the selection of Panama as headquarters responded to its position as a point of cultural convergence and to the need to strengthen spaces where art serves as a tool for the conservation of natural resources.

) The international event transformed public space into an art and culture lab where design ceases to be an item of consumption to become a vehicle of change. Panama takes up the role of host of a global conversation where fashion only makes sense if it guarantees the permanence of the resources that inspire it.

Activities scheduled for this international event include examples of collections using low impact and alternative materials and production technologies as well as artistic interventions inspired by the cycles of nature. With this edition, Panama puts itself into the regional calendar of events that link the creative economy with the preservation of the environment.
