Penonomé, March 13, 2026 * - The infrastructure team of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) undertook a visit to the construction project of the Estelina Tebeira Cultural Center to get to know the status of its work. According to the technical report, the work presents an advance of 55%.

The construction, which began in January 2025, involves an investment of $10.9 million. That amount covers the phases of study, design, development of plans, construction, furniture and equipment.

The architecture complex includes in its architecture: Auditorium, parking spaces, cafeteria and classroom. The centre is located in the Penonomé district. Once completed, the facilities will receive students to teach: music, plastic arts, dance and theater among other arts.

The inspection was intended to verify that the implementation schedule was met in accordance with the terms of the contract for the surrender of the work to the community of Coclé.
