Panama March 7, 2026. - The LUCES Panama Foundation dedicated to the fight against epilepsy paid special tribute to the renowned musician and director Roberto Delgado and his orchestra during his performance at the Teatro Áurea "Baby" Torrijos de la Ciudad de las Artes.

The evening, which was part of a special feature entitled "La Noche de la Orquesta," featured the live participation of Roberto Delgado and Orquesta, a group with 12 Grammy awards and with responsibility for performing the music of the show from the stage, in a unique experience for the public.

The event had been supported by the Ministry of Culture of Panama and added to its recognition by highlighting Delgado's trajectory as one of the most influential figures of Panamanian music and an ambassador of salsa at an international level.

During his activity, cultural authorities emphasized that the work Maestra Vida, inspired by the music of Panamanian singer Rubén Blades, has become a fundamental reference to Latin American musical art by its way of narrating the daily lives of our peoples, their struggles, dreams and hopes.

It was also emphasized that Roberto Delgado's talent, discipline and artistic vision have helped to project the Panamanian salsa at international stage, strengthening an artistic legacy that prides the country.

The presentation was held as part of the cultural agenda "Vibra Panama Summer 2026," an initiative aimed at bringing art and culture closer to citizenship, celebrating cultural diversity and strengthening Panamanian identity through music and arts.

In addition to his artistic value, his role had a solidarity character, as it was performed for the benefit of the Fundación LUCES Panama, an organization that promotes programs to support and awareness about epilepsy in the country.

The evening concluded with an unexpected surprise: the performance of singer Ruben Blades that turned his recognition of Roberto Delgado into a true party, showing that more than an orchestra and his director, they are a brotherhood that has brought his musical excellence to the whole world.
