Panama, December 23, 2025. - After his studies have been completed at the Higher Institute of Special Arts and Folklore of the Ministry of Culture, 40 new high level technicians have been awarded their degree to become part of the art and culture professionals who can now aim to continue university studies.

The 40 graduates are distributed into different specialities as dance, theater, plastic arts, music and design from the National Conservatory of Music, the National School of Dance, the National School of Theater, the National School of Plastic Arts and the newly established National School of Design and New Technologies.

That group, currently awarded its title, was the first graduation after the passing of Act 4055 of November 15, 2024, making it the first graduation of national schools at high level.

The ceremony, held at the Teatro Áurea "Beby" Torrijos de Ciudad de las Artes, was illustrated with music, theater presentations and choreographer giving the cultural touch to the event.

The National Director of Artistic Education of MiCultura, Aristides Burgos, called on new professionals to continue to improve their knowledge with the aim of enriching our culture.
