The Grand Band of the Orchestra and Cork Network closed season 2025

Panama's 29th of December 2025. The Big Band advanced from Panama's Network of Orchestra and Youth Chors closed the 2025 musical season with the Christmas Session concert at the Áurea Theater "Baby" Torrijos de Ciudad de las Artes.

Under the leadership of master Alejandro Castillo, young students from the Panama Center module have shown a high level of performance, reflecting the music training process that drives the Network at national level. The evening brought together families, allies and music lovers, who enjoyed a night full of talent and youth enthusiasm.

The Repertoire included a combination of widely recognized Christmas and Latino rhythms, inviting them to enjoy and dance and attesting to the artistic versatility of the grouping. The special participation of Panamanian artists such as Tony Flores, Víctor Jaramillo, Russo Villareal and Luis Lugo brought dynamism and enriched the public's musical experience.

The concert represented an important opportunity to visualize training work, artistic growth and the potential of the young musicians that make up the Advanced Big Band, and to consolidate itself as a space for cultural projection and integral development through the art of music.

During the activity, the Director of the Network, Electra Castillo, expressed her appreciation for his support and emphasized the commitment to continue his mission during 2026, to bring musical training to more communities throughout the country as a tool for social transformation.

During the month of December, the Panama Network of Orquestas and Children's and Youth's Corks of the Ministry of Culture developed an extensive programme of artistic activities as part of the end-of-year festivities and academic closures, with an impact on different public and cultural scenarios at national level.
