The National School of Dances at the Ministry of Culture held the end of its 2025 academic year and the graduation of new Higher Techniques with an artistic gala held at the City of the Arts, where the classical ballet and modern dance united at stage to show the rigour, discipline and identity that define vocational training at this institution.

During her intervention, Director Iguandili López reflected on the demand that holds the art of movement, and emphasized that after every step there's rigour in the methodology that requires the development of dance, knowledge of the body and profound commitment to the profession.

The director also emphasized that the school's two-year term currently occupies the spaces of the City of the Arts, a headquarters that has received more than 900 students, reflecting the growing interest in vocational training in dance.

One of the most significant moments at night was the graduation of nine students, of whom seven obtained the title of Higher Techniques in Modern Dance and two at Classic Ballet, who culminated in a process marked by constancy, challenges and passion for art.

The artistic program included pieces from the classical repertoire as The Four Stations of Antonio Vivaldi and fragments of the Suite of Ballet Sylvia de Léo Delibes, with the contemporary proposal Ground Bodies: What my Granny told me, a work of modern dance inspired by accounts, myths and memories from different regions of the country.

The gala also served to recognize the efforts of the student body at all its training levels as well as the work of the teaching team, whose accompaniment has been key to the technical and human training of future dance professionals and the continuous support of parents.

The event brought together students, teachers, families and public at an evening marked by technical excellence and emotion, which attested to the sustained growth of this training institution at MiCultura and its consolidation as national reference point in the teaching of dance.
