Coclé, 18 October 2025. - The night of this Friday she was dressed with colors in Antón, where the coronation of S. M. Itzel Ivethe Bosquez Jaramillo, queen of version 54 of the Festival of the Guapo Toro de Antón, received the crown of Retiring Queen S. M. Naika Mayela Ortega Behancour. This year the festival will be held under the motto "Rescuing traditions and customs."

The young queen thanked her family and friends for their support to achieve this dream before a town that enjoyed a music and Folklore show.

On Friday, the traditions of the festival, such as the modester with totuma, have been held, an activity with children with their families and with their families, in a caravan that includes the queen and his whole court.

At the end of the afternoon, a special mass was held, here the Queen and her court, all with beautiful necks and the Toro Guapo entered the church to receive the blessing of the festival. The religious ceremony of the St. John the Baptist Parish, at the 15th of January, has the mission to bless the people, the tradition and the festival itself.

The Toro Guapo also has a children's queen, this year's Victoria Chirú, who was crowned on Thursday 16th. To Saturday we will have the Guacho in totuma, contest, the cow chave, decorations and folkloric presentations.

That celebration, which honors the collective memory and the active role of the community in its conservation, expects to receive about 150,000 visitors, in a space to rescue and project the traditions of the anarchist peasant.

The festival creates a significant economic impact for the district and strengthens local development through gastronomy, crafts and cultural tourism, as it integrates children, youth and adults into activities that strengthen their sense of membership and love for our traditions.
