Panama October 17, 2025. On October 17 and 18, the Panama National Ballet will represent the country in El Salvador, at the Grand Gala International of the Ballet, next to the National Ballet of El Salvador. The activity will be held at the Teatro Presidente, offering the public a unique experience of dance and artistic talent from both nations.

The directors Sasa Adamovich of the Panamanian company and Rumen Rashev of the Salvadoran company put their talent together in this intercultural partnership that strengthens the links between both cultural institutions.

The gala promise to be majestic with a varied and iconic repertoire that combines technique, emotion and beauty.

The Panamanian company will be presenting works such as the stylization of the Santa Librada Point, a Don Quixote Suite and the contemporary Inquieter Variations, creation of the choreographer Fernando Hurtado, recently premiered during the Ballet's anniversary.

The National Ballet of El Salvador will share pieces such as Majsimo and an extract from Raymonda, among other outstanding numbers.

A cast of more than 30 dancers, accompanied by his artistic director and technical team, will be travelling on October 16, with his mission to promote cultural exchanges with sister countries of Central and South America. Following his success with his recent presentation in Costa Rica, his company will continue to bring his art to new audiences.

The next few months will be put to the stage production that viewers are eagerly expecting: "The Lake of the Cisnes," in October, and "The Cascanueces," in December, accompanied live by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Panama.

The Cascanueces will have the special participation of girls, boys and youth who auditioned in September for children's roles, directed by choreographer David Makhateli, former leading dancer of the Spanish company Royal Ballet.
