Panama City, June 26, 2025 - An intense and varied cultural agenda will fill squares, museums, libraries and theatres this weekend, June 28 and June 29 with activities for all public: from workshops and concerts to festivals, exhibitions and traditional celebrations.

The cultural capital of this weekend will be the Casco Antiguo, where several activities will be held among them day of beach cleanliness from 7: 00 a.m., the Film and Art Festival, the Bazar Mercadito, the gastronomic proposal Calle Latina with two days of flavour, culture and music outdoors, the Photowalk "People and its environment" and a family painting workshop at the Mola Museum.

Also, on Sunday June 29th, we will have the Corpus Christi version with the Peatonal Hat with presentations of traditional dances and artistic expressions on a journey full of culture, tradition and joy with the different squares of Casco Antiguo, horse riding with pallet, live music at the House of the municipality.

The national museums also open their doors with a variety of programs. The Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC Panama) invites an open day with exhibitions, workshops, dedicated tours and participatory activities such as "Mac Ground" and "Messengers of the Tomorrow." The Canal Museum, the Casa del Soldado and the Mola Museum will offer family-wide experiences from historic tours to creative workshops.

Public libraries throughout the country will be meeting centers this weekend with activities such as reading circles, literary bingo, cinema, painting, storyteller and family workshops at locations such as San Miguelito, Arraiján, Guarararé, Chitre, Las Tables, Monagrillo and Santiago.

At Colón, the musical "Free the Experiences" will feature the Afro-Antillean history of Panama, while Albrook Mall will celebrate Japan Culture Day with lectures, workshops and stories.

And for theater and music lovers, there are presentations as "Heroes and Legends" at the National Theater, the end-of-course recital at the Anita Villalaz Theater, and several stage put at the Pacific Theater and other spaces.

The June closure is an open invitation to enjoy activities, artistic, cultural and educational, some with free access or accessible inputs, this program advanced by the Ministry of Culture and many institutional and citizen partners strengthens the link between culture and community.
