The Ministry of Culture announces the return of the Club of House Groups Festival, which holds its fifth edition up to June 22 with free programs at different locations in Panama City and provinces.

The opening event was held by the Chamber Chorus Ecos with the "Ecos del mundo" concert at the Anita Villalaz Theater, performing a different repertoire, including music from Latin America, Europe and Africa.

María Eugenia Herrera, Minister of Culture at the inaugural event emphasized that this "Panama Chamber Festival has become an open window to familiarize our professional musicians and young talents, who with their groupings offer us curious, contemporary and Panamanian music, prestigious our country in every interpretation and filled our hearts with peace and food for the soul."

The prestigious music event aims at promoting and disseminating the music of instrumental groups and will have 11 high level national groups and international guests, offering the public an artistic experience of quality.

The festival will extend with tours to the interior of the country, reaching the provinces of Coclé, Colón, Los Santos and Veraguas as as well as other alternative spaces such as Tocumen International Airport, democratizing access to music in different corners of the country and promoting our national talent to a wider audience.

One of the main attractions of the festival are the didactic concerts directed at students at Casco Antiguo schools, who seek to bring youth closer to the world of camera music. Also, workshops of musical composition will be offered by Costa Rica's guest master, Marvin Camacho, in the City of the Arts, Margot Fonteyn Building from June 17 to 20 from 3: 00 to 6: 00 p.m.
