Panama, 1 April 2025 -In the context of the Ibero-American Year of the performing arts and of the Month of the Dance, the Ministry of Culture of Panama presents "Body / Space," a program of artistic residences focused on dance. That project will be developed at the City of the Arts and the Center of Art and Culture at Colón.

Artists from throughout the region will come together to create dance pieces and performing arts inspired by the local environment with presentations open to the public on Sunday, April 13th and 27th and May 4th at the City of Arts as well as Saturday, April 26th at Colón.

The relevance of the program: "Corpamento / Espacio" represents a unique opportunity for artists from across Iberoamerica to be found in Panama, producing works that engage with the cultural spaces of the country and contribute to the enriching of the local and regional artistic scene.

In the framework of the Ibero-American Year of Academic Arts 2025, the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB) and the IBERESCEN Programme invite artists and collective partners from the 22 countries of the Ibero-American Cultural Space to participate in the call to write the "Official Message of the Ibero-American Year of Academic Arts."

Under the motto "Scenes of Diversity," this message will be read at different performing events throughout 2025, celebrating the wealth and plurality of Ibero-American performing arts.

The call will be open from 3 to 19 September 2024. interested parties will be allowed to consult the bases and have access to the registration form at iberescia.org.
