The City of Knowledge will become the cradle of art and creativity on March 21 and 22 with the celebration of Macrobest 2025, an event that promotes national talent and brings together leading artists from around the world.

At a press conference, the organizers shared details about national and international artists who will participate in this festival Magnus and extend an invitation to designers, painters, musicians and creators of all disciplines. 

The call will be open till January 30 and is a unique opportunity for professionals, students and emerging artists who wish to display their performance, installations and creative works.

The MacRobest 2025 will have the participation of renowned artists from Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Panama. Panamanian talents will include La Escuelita del Ritmo, Neema, Panama the Band, Roots and Culture, Nemula, The Brown Fatima and Carlos Méndez.

For their part, international artists will include the Cuban percussionist Pedrito Martínez, the Mexican singer Caloncho, the Colombians of Monsieur Periné, the Argentinians of Chinese Bandalos and the acclaimed Dominican singer Vicente García.

The Minister of Culture, María Eugenia Herrera, emphasized the relevance of Macrobest as a platform for the development of artistic talent in Panama: "From the national government I urge them to move forward. That government is an ally of private enterprise to ensure that all Panamanians have access to cultural rights. Art should be shared and be a tool for community service."

The Minister also emphasized the importance of creating spaces for collaboration between the state, private enterprise and civil society: "The artist is built to share his light with the world, and the Macrobest is an outstanding display that shows that Panama is a cradle of creativity and innovation."

During the event, Minister Herrera received recognition as "Traveller Macro" for her unconditional support to the festival from its beginning.

The MacRobest not only promotes talent but also celebrates the creative and emerging industry, strengthening itself as a space of connection for artists and public alike. Besides music and art, the festival will offer a variety of gastronomic offers for all tastes.
