The National Symphony Orchestra (OSN), with the jobs of most of his headquarters at the Balboa Theater, offered a concert to celebrate his 83-year Founding, an occasion that was an opportunity to give an recognition to his members with more years to belong to this musical institution.

The concert began with the interpretation of the Fanfaria Jbilosa of our leading composer, Roque Cordero and directed by his assistant director, Ricardo Risco, a musical presentation that was widely applauded by his concurrence.

Following that, before continuing with the performances under the direction of master Jorge Ledezma Bradley, an event was held with recognition of musicians as well as the national director of Las Artes, Isabel Burgos and the Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué.

At this concert, the Ministry of Culture gave recognition certificates to musicians with more than 20, 30 and 40 to belong to the OSN as well as to a group of four musicians who have been withdrawn from the Orchestra.

The members of the Orquesta later recognized the contribution of Minister González Villarrué and national director Isabel Burgos to improving employment and pay conditions for members of the Orquesta, which includes about 65 people, among musicians, assistants and administrative and logistics personnel.

Later, under the direction of master Jorge Ledezma Bradley, the 83-year-old Founding concert was held with performances of the Obertura Solemne 1812, op.49 and Symphony N ° 5, at my minor, op.64 by Piotr Ilich Chaikovski.
