At the Metropolitan Cultural Centre of the Ministry of Culture they began the art, music and dance workshops, completely free of charge, with about 300 children and adults from the province of West Panama, San Miguelito, North Panama and Panama City Center.

The workshops will be held from Monday to Friday with children from 5 onwards in the areas of piano, guitar, percussion, folklore, popular dances, crafts and retraining and older adults with guitar and singing class.

To Nilka Batista, an instructor at the drawing and painting workshop, "these workshops help to develop the creativity of children and to motivate them and awaken their creativity, in this course I have children from 5 to 10 years old who will learn how to conduct shading, acrylic, watercolor and oleum lights, lights, shadows and techniques."

The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué, emphasized that this kind of initiative is important because we have to see arts and culture as a fundamental pillar of individual transformation.

"The importance of these workshops, we are creating better human beings because we are inculcating values and leading them to an integral training to be better individuals where communities, society and countries benefit."

The classes end on February 24 with a great art festival, at the Metropolitan Cultural Center, where they will show how they have been learned and how talented they have been.
