A night with different musical rhythms and with his recognition of composers, interpreters and arrangers was the framework in which his Ministry of Culture paid tribute to Panamanian musicians.
The musician's day is November 22, a date dedicated to Santa Cecilia, a patron of musicians and the Ministry of Culture brought together artists of different genres at an event that was threatened by different musical groupings.
The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué expressed the need to put an end to the date by indicating that music and those who make it possible have to give them the courage and siege they deserve and also congratulated the unity of the musicians to carry forward their efforts for their profession.
At the event, a minute of silence was observed to remind desalike music professionals from 2021 and 2022, including Inesta, Rogelio Cruz, Vitín Paz and Manito Johnson, among others and also a scroll of recognition to 20 musical artists who have left a legacy to future generations.
Orquestas from the different stations of the Civil Forces encouraged the day with their interpretations this date that was established by law 24 of 11 February 1955.
