With the participation of 70 students, the Writer Training Program (PROFE) was completed and from July to October they received 64 hours of training from Justices, teachers and winners of the Ricardo Miró Competition and was organized by the Ministry of Culture.
Isabel Burgos, national director of the arts of MiCultura explained that it was an idea that came up in 2017 with the aim of professionalizing and strengthening the literary genres and encouraging the creation of national literature of participants in the different categories of Ricardo Miró, such as poetry, essay, tale, novel and theater.
He added that this year's training also included creative and script writing as production of films was also being advanced at MiCultura.
The training was conducted by academics, professional writers and university professors who offered the workshops in a virtual and face-to-face manner.
