With 26 samples from nine countries, 10 local films and training activities, it will be held presentially from October 28 to November 1, in different provinces and locations of our country's 10th version of the Icaro Panama Film Festival 2022.

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), through the National Cinema Management, supports the festival, organized by the Foundation for Academic and Audiovisual Arts (FAE).

The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué, welcomed and congratulated the organizers for maintaining and growing the festival for 15 years and strengthening it in content and form.

The incumbent of Culture emphasized that "Each day our cinema is leading messages about our identity and it's fundamental, as there's a new generation that's breaking through and leaving its mark on

this local cinema, growing and offering new opportunities to a generation that's expressed strongly. "

The festival will have three provincial headquarters with 6 outreach spaces, 26 films from 9 countries and 8 training activities, to be developed by international and Panamanian guests.

During the issue of this Film Festival, films from Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama, Argentina, Spain and Mexico will be appreciated.
