A collective exhibition of eight students from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Regional University Centre of Colón, called "Trazos Libres" was open to the public at the Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) and offers to the viewer a varied sample of techniques that reveal the artistic talent of these artists undergoing training.

The pictorial exhibition includes 24 paintings made of oil and acrylic with figures framed in titles such as "The Prisoner of Time," "Ocean," "The Link," "Charlotte" and "Genesis," with an appreciation for the face and for the congo heritage and traditions, for the ethnic diversity of the province of Colón and the diversity of its landscapes.

Norberto Rojas, a faculty teacher, who dictates the Old Art subject and charged with the exhibition emphasized his complacency because "this initiative is very significant for the students who are training in class classes, because it motivates them to develop, to promote their insertion into the market and to criticize the spectator."

Sergio González, one of the emerging artists at the collective level, referred to the "Prisoner of time" piece that offers a message "about the reality of our time. We think we can control them but with day to day we lose them and we get into so many things we want to do and we can't."

For his part, Rudylein Cedeño states that his work "Fairy Fairy" is one of the most striking within his collection by the colors and shape of the mocha, which plasma into a frog. He also indicates that he's more comfortable with his oil technique and that he likes to paint daily problems, our identity and people's picardy.

The exhibition will be open to the public until September 30 at the Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery, located within the building known as Las Bóvedas at San Felipe and the entrance will be free from 9: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m. from Monday to Sunday.
