MiCultura at the Fest Traveling Festival

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) will be represented at the "Traveling Fest" tourism, gastronomy and culture event, to be held on 1 and 2 October at the Atrio Mall commercial centre, Costa del Este, with the aim that Panamanian and local travellers can find at the four levels of the commercial centre, promotions and tourist packages from national and international destinations and at the same time enjoy different cultural activities, the entrance will be free.
The National Handicraft Management of MiCultura will have the participation of more than 15 artisan from our seven original groups who will have an opportunity to market their products, making them an export display.
More than 50 companies, providers and public entities will provide their services with a range of family activities and tourist offers, creating a national brand promotion force as part of the economic recovery plan.
Gabriel González, his deputy Minister of Culture, emphasized "united culture and tourism are an engine of progress and development. Today we Panamanians understand, appreciate and promote the wonderful set of natural and heritage attractions we have."
"We have learned how to look at ourselves and to share with ourselves our music and folkloric dances and how to share with ourselves how beautiful our typical costumes are and how to enjoy our gastronomy, as they belong to a multicultural country," added the Deputy Minister of Culture.
The Director General of Visión Studio, Angie Montoya stated that this project was achieved with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Atrio Mall Costa del Este, Drems Playa Bonita, Tours & Trips and national and international.
The fair will be divided into several levels of exposure, with level 1 and 2 where the visitor will be able to find travel agencies, promoter, tenant and secure area lines.
At levels 3 and 4, we will highlight the cultural part with catwalk, fashion parades with famous designers, information talks, sales of books by famous Panamanian authors and mainly the gastronomic promenade.
