Take Cultural Concepts to Action propose Minister González Villarrué at Continental Meeting

To bring ideas and concepts about culture to action or practice is the main challenge put by the Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué to his colleagues during the panel: "Latin America of Cara to the World Conference on Cultural Policies (Mordacult 2022).
He added that putting the concepts into action will allow in 10 or 15 years "to look back and see how culture serves as a model for development in our countries" and added that Panama has been advanced by creating a Ministry that gives culture an opportunity to have a say and a vote in the office.
He stated that Panama advocates the promotion and recognition of culture as a global public good and promotes cultural and creative industries.
At his briefing, Minister González Villarrué stated that Panama has a commitment to the 2030 agenda and that despite "not being a country with great industries, culture occupies an important place within the daily lives of its inhabitants."
Mordacult 2022 will be held next September in Mexico City and will discuss issues such as material and immaterial heritage, community culture, cultural industries and digital culture.
