About 200 students from Danza and Folklore schools at the Ministry of Culture met at the Balboa Theater to conduct a dance and youth show last April 29 at the occasion of "International Dance Day."

The attendees were able to enjoy the talent shown by the youth with their classical and modern choreographies and repertories, such as jazz and pieces of Panamanian folklore, among them The Lake of the Cisnes, The Sleeping Beauty, Odyssey in time, Tango, Holocaust and Aurora escape and jewelry, among other highly appreciated pieces.

Iguandili López, director of the National School of Dance, noted that "this activity has been undertaken since 1999 with the aim of sharing the art of dance and that this art will reach all with love and motivate youth to continue studying this race that offers many benefits.
