My Culture held at Upper Plaza Mall the Festival of Creative and Crafts Industries on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1, 2022, where attendees enjoyed folk performances and the sale of crafts.
Jaime Luna, National Director of Handicrafts, emphasized that this type of day is ideal for them to "spend the best weekend with the whole family enjoying the Festival of Creative Industries, folk and cultural presentations and sale of handicrafts."
During the weekend at this commercial centre there were distractions for boys and adults with workshops, Laberintos del Mono and folkloric presentations from different typical groups and indigenous dances such as the Kipiamkia Group (Danzas Ngäbe Buglé), from Bladimir Moreno.
A Fashizo Afro paddle with samples from the designer Alex Adames and the Folk Projections Group of the Arraijan mayor's office, directed by Liannys Morales, among other groups, was also developed.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, May 1, there were also presentations by different folkloric groups, workshops and dance tours of different ethnic groups throughout the country.
