With a great performance and thirty dancers at the artistic stage of the International Sugar Fair of the Villa de Los Santos, El Ballet Nacional de Panama was introduced on April 29, and celebrates International Day of Dance after more than two years of its non-performance within the Republic.
The only performance, with 24 currently at the stage and 6 talented dancers with an awesomeness to belong to the dance company.
The public saw classical pieces of ballet, contemporary dance and stylization of our folklor, as they are: Paquita, La Staciones de Vivaldi, devils Espejos, Viva Panama, At the rhythm of the Tambor and other charming choreographies.
Gloria Barrios, Executive Director of the National Ballet commented: "We have been 50 years old in August and we have an agenda full of activities, with presentations inside the country and different theatres of Panama City, photo exhibitions, dressings and the participation of dancers at international festivals."
"That year we will get into the City of the Arts, a great dream that have long had by all generations of dancers and professionals from Panama's National Ballet.
