MiCultura and TVN agree that will help to expand knowledge about historic sites

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) and Televisora Nacional, S.A. established a Memorandum of Understanding that will give both of them a responsibility to contribute to expanding knowledge about historic sites and monuments that are cultural heritage of the nation.

The incumbent of MiCultura, Carlos Aguilar Navarro and the general manager of Televisora Nacional, S.A. Luis Mouynes have agreed that the entity will support the television project "Panama Race," 2021 edition that's a reality where participants will have to face challenges that will lead them to visit and discover most iconic historic, monuments and archaeological sites of the country.
The organizers of "Panama Race" have scheduled that with established routes, participants will culminate in locations such as: The San Lorenzo Fort, Fort San Jerónimo, Paseo Marino and the Santiago de La Gloria Fort in the province of Colón.

Also included are routes that will bring reality participants to points such as Park V Centenario, Plaza de France, Museo Afroantillano, Mi Pueblto, Monumento Amelia Denis De Icaza and Museo del Canal, among others from the province of Panama.

The museums of El Caño and Penonomé at Coclé and that of Nationality at Los Santos are also part of the tour established by "Panama Race" and at each point viewers will be able to know details of each of these sites.

Through the Memorandum of Understanding, MiCultura will provide technical assistance and advice in specific areas of the fields of culture and support with permits for accessibility to the installations, spaces, museums, squares, archaeological sites and structures and others under the supervision of the Ministry.

To the extent that the participants of "Panama Race" are passing through established sites, information about each of these points that are part of Panamanian cultural wealth and whose information will be supplied by trained MiCultura personnel will be published.
