Under the International Day of Museums under the motto of 2021, "The Future of Museums: Reclaiming and Reimagining, the Ministry of Culture invites you to witness a cycle of educational, didactic and virtual activities at different museums at national level.

For the first time, 11 museums between private and public, including those run by Mi Cultura, join with the National Network of Museums to offer the "Way of Museums" 2021, where the public, by means of a passport, will be able to conduct different museums throughout the city as part of a circuit with different amenities, benefits and discounts at tickets on Saturdays and Sundays from May 15 to 30, and you can also have an ingenious individual or family photo uploading them to their social networks and by referring to the accounts of the participating museums.

The museums that will participate from this tour have: Canal Museum, Religious and Colonial Art Museum, History Museum, Afro-Antillan Museum, La Mola Museum, Biomusus, Contemporary Art Museum, Freedom Museum, Merced Museum, Bottle Museum and Old Panama's Archaeological Site Museum.

The children of the house can also participate by downloading from the MiCultura's website, pics to paint and learn from our museum collections as well as interesting educational capsules.

The national museums will be presenting activities to the public at large as part of this activity, including:

The Penonomé Museum: will conduct the workshop of applying gold laminilla and general information of restoration about wood to local artisan. Virtual Tour launch of the museum in collaboration with Cobre Panama at 10: 30 a.m., at the digital platforms of MiCultura and Cobre Panama.

The Museum of Nationality: with the Mayor's office of Los Santos will be presenting a video about the importance of the museum within the community and a circuit of guided tours to officials from different governmental institutions of the province.

The Manuel F. Zátiate Museum will hold a Virtual Forum on the Process and Preparation of the Board of Membre of the Manuel F. Záratie House - May 11, 1969.

The Stella Sierra- Aguadulce Museum from 18 May to 18 June will have public officials and private companies with guided tours with the aim of empowering people from the importance of the museum.

There will also be an exhibition called "Smiles of Cartoons" by an Acute artist Hilde Sucre.

The Regional Museum of Veraguas from 18 to 20 May presents an artistic exhibition with the Panamanian Association of Plastic Artist -Section of Veraguas. Besides guided tours focused on the history of the museum.

Fabio Nicolez-Herrera Museum presents the painting exhibition "Retrospective of the painting of the Igor and Milton Villarreal Saavedra brothers, 43 years of habitual art" at the Herrera Hall.

The History Museum on 18 May will give rise to Victoriano Lorenzo's fight through a number of photographs, his original letters and photographs of his shooting, his trial and his conduct of May 15, 1903.

Museums Religious Art from May 13th to 16th will have in conjunction with the National Handicraft Management, will have an exhibition of Mácaras de Diablo Sucio from May 13th to 16th 2021.

El Caño Archaeological Park Museum will have educational activities for children from 6 to 10 years old

Explore on May 18 will have an Origami Workshop in collaboration with the Panamanian Foundation for Math Promotion, Chemical Workshop in Cooking, activities will be free and registration links will be on their social networks.
